Amitābha Buddha is the principal celestial Buddha in Mahayana Buddhism.  He is the warmth of the red, setting sun – his name literally means Infinite Light.

Best known for compassion and love, as Lord of the Lotus family, he originates from the seed syllable, Hrih, the symbol of the fire element.

This Buddha is part of a series of paintings by world renowned artist Lok Chitrakar of Nepal.  Presenting here a limited edition print.
